first annual clark/devine/horspool polar bear plunge

ahh... binder lake in the winter... frozen over...

so, what do we do when this happens? we plunge... but first, we must break through the ice.

how thick is that really?

and finally, they are ready. complete with a highway patrolman escort. unfortunately the horspool member of the plunge was spending time in iraq. he was sorely missed. don't worry... we'll see him next year.

sorry, no photos of after... we switched to video cameras and then were preoccupied with warming everyone up.

ski suits

you may think we are gearing up to go skiing... sadly, no... we were just trying the ski suits on. aren't we lovely? i mean awesome!

tradition

every christmas eve growing up we were allowed to open one present... pajamas always! our little kiddos look forward to this tradition too!

christmas eve snow

we headed to missouri for christmas vacation. the kids were super excited to start spending some time with the devines, uncle aaron, nana and papa. lucky for us, we had a white christmas... it snowed on christmas eve. everyone was ready for some snow fun! they went sledding and made a huge snowman. such a great start to a fun vacation!
